The people of Indus valley moved from town to town trading and swapping goods. Farmers brought food into the villages and cities. City workers made pots and fabric. Traders brought materials for workers and took the goods that were finished to trade. The trade goods were terracotta pots, beads, gold, silver, gem stones, metal, seashells, and pearls.
